We have recently travelled to Wroclaw, where we were hosted by the Wroclaw University of Environment and Life Science for our third annual Consortium Meeting.
After two intense days of presentations, discussions, and specific thematic workshops, the third and last day of the meeting was dedicated to the visit of the two local demo sites led by Wroclaw University: the floating island at the lake in Tolpa Park in the center of the city, and the Osobowice remediation field, on the outskirts of Wroclaw.
It was the chance to interview our Polish colleagues, Aleksandra Bawiec, Krzysztof Lejcuś and Agnieszka Medyńska-Juraszek about the objectives, methodologies, challenges and preliminary results of the two pilot experiments.
